How it works

Your data stays with you
Files and recognised text are stored in your own Joomla database, not in someone else's cloud. Only users with the right Joomla permissions can access them. One database backup saves everything at once.
Why document management right inside Joomla?
Many small businesses, associations and freelancers already run their website on Joomla. J!DMS turns it into a lean DMS: invoices, receipts, till slips and contracts are dropped into the Joomla back end and archived at once.
OCR text recognition also reads scanned PDFs and phone photos, so you can later find any receipt by a keyword, a supplier or an invoice number. You don't need a separate DMS, a cloud subscription or extra software on the server – and with the "Document list" menu item you can also make selected documents available to visitors of your website.
